It is harder to get into trouble if you don't leave the house unless it is strictly necessary (i.e university commitments, or work) because trouble has to come find you.

Of course, the kind of trouble that shows up at your doorstep is going to be of the absolute worst variety. Think of the effort that trouble would have to go to, and how intent on messing you up that it must be, to come find you at your home!
